BMWK Weekend Travel Guide: Time for the 'Taste of DC!" | Black ...

October is becoming (unofficially) food festival month. (LOL) If you are going to be in Washington, DC Columbus Day weekend, you are in for a tasty treat. The ?Taste of DC? ??is back serving up a weekend of food, fun, beer and wine.?

Over 50 restaurants will be participating starting Saturday October 6th thru Monday October 8th from 12p-7p daily. Participating restaurants include: Wicked Waffle, Co Co Sala, Sushi Rock, Tara Thai, Cupcake Lounge and Etete Ethiopian Cuisine to name a few. All restaurants will feature at least one ?taste? menu item for $3!

Love chili? Sign up to participate in the 2nd annual ?world chili eating championship? presented by DC?s favorite chili restaurant ?Ben?s Chili Bowl.? Bring the kids along for a fun filled day in the ?family zone? complete with the most popular interactive games for kids of all ages to enjoy.

This is a fabulous opportunity to discover great new food and restaurants. The ?Taste of DC? will be downtown on Pennsylvania Avenue between 9th & 14th streets. Tickets are an amazing $10 and are on sale now! Your ticket purchase includes your choice of soda, water, Stella Artois or wine.
